P.U.S.H. Rally was started November 26, 2014 after the murders in Savannah GA of 2-year-old Kiki Smalls, and in an unrelated case, 12-year-old Keith Passmore. It was founded by Dr Arleen Fuller who is known as the mid wife and her daughter Soneisha Ling. Our very first meeting was the Wednesday before thanksgiving. Dr Fuller felt a cry in her spirit because of the loss of life for these children. She contacted the media and made a plea to the city. How can we celebrate Thanksgiving when two mothers have lost their children. People stopped what they was doing and came out and we prayed for the crime in this city and to stop the shedding of innocent blood.
This movement was founded by Women because in the natural we are mothers and know how to P.U.S.H. beyond the pain of giving birth because once that baby is born, we do not remember the pain any more. We do not want another mother's heart to be broken because of all the shootings and bloodshed that is going on.We realize that it takes more than prayer. Dr Fuller is in the "Field" just about everyday. She goes beyond to transform the lives of people and get to the root cause of the problem. She believes that if we all unite and come together, we can change this city, our region, our state, and our country. People United Sharing Hope is the acronym we use now. We want to make a difference. We want to work along with the District Attorney, Police Chief and Community leaders to get this job done. Everyone of us can do something to make a difference in the lives of people who are homeless, hopeless, battered, poor, have mental illness, abusive, drug addicted, addicted to alcohol, single parents, uneducated, convicted felons, confused, unruly children and so much more. We are looking for people who have been on the streets and have changed their lives to be mentors. Anyone interested can go to www.alicehope.org and click on contact us and you will see the various forms to fill out. . Anyone who needs help to change their lives should contact us as well.
